Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents include Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was a flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 1970s. The budget of her was augmented by a stipend to students and part-time jobs. Lennox was not content with her performance compared with the other students at the Royal Academy and began looking for alternative paths. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. The band did not make it to the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. Between 1977 and 1980, she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. After that, Lennox began working for her debut album as a solo artist Diva that came out in 1992. Both commercially as well as critically the album was a massive success. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was Released in the month of October 2014. The C.D. Lennox has chosen her favorite jazz, blues and soul songs. Also, in May of 2019, Lennox released Lepidoptera which is a compilation of four improvised piano tracks. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album in conjunction with her art work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer and songwriter who was born on December 25th 1954. After minor success as a member of the group known as The Tourists in the late 1970s she and fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to become internationally renowned as the pop duo Eurythmics in the 1980s. Lennox made her debut as a solo artist in 1992 when she released the album of Diva with a number of successful songs like Why as well as walking on Broken Glass. Medusa, a 1995 studio album features cover versions of popular songs such as No More I Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer is acknowledged with six studio albums solo as well as a compilation.
